I used to think that reading was boring, but about a year ago, I decided to read a few pages every night before bed, and it started to change my life. I discovered that reading isn’t just about learning — it’s also a way to escape daily stress and explore new, exciting worlds.
At first, I read light self-improvement books, then moved on to novels and true stories. I noticed that my English improved a lot, and I started learning new words from context without needing a dictionary every time. Reading also helped me think more deeply and understand myself and others better.
One of the biggest benefits I noticed is that reading makes me calmer and more focused. Instead of scrolling through my phone before sleeping, reading became part of my nightly routine, and it actually helps me fall asleep more easily.
Now, I can’t imagine a day without reading something new. I’ve realized that books aren’t just pages — they are silent friends that teach you how to see the world differently each time.
