Last summer, I traveled to Italy for the first time in my life. The trip was a dream come true because I had always loved Italian culture and food. When I arrived in Rome, I was amazed by the historic buildings and the lively streets.
During the first few days, I faced some difficulties communicating because my Italian was weak, but people were very friendly and tried their best to help me. I used English and some gestures, and sometimes I laughed at the funny situations caused by the language barrier.
What I enjoyed most was visiting museums and trying local foods like real pizza and gelato. I also met some tourists from other countries, and we talked about our cultures and shared experiences.
When I returned home, I felt that this trip had changed me a lot. It wasn’t just a vacation — it was an educational experience that made me appreciate cultural diversity and want to travel more in the future.
