Last Monday was my first day at work. I was a little excited and nervous at the same time. I arrived at the office at eight in the morning and found my colleagues waiting to welcome me.

The manager started with a tour of the office and introduced me to the other employees. Then he explained some of the tasks I would do during the week. I tried to stay focused and learn everything quickly.

During the break, I talked with some colleagues and shared short stories about myself. They were very friendly and helped me feel comfortable. After lunch, I started doing some simple tasks, like organizing files and replying to some emails.

At the end of the day, I felt tired but also happy because I had started my new job successfully. I learned that the first day can be difficult, but support from colleagues makes everything easier.
