On Friday evening, I went to a restaurant with my friend Omar. We sat at a table near the window, and the waiter came with the menu. He said, “Hello, are you ready to order?”

I said, “Yes, I’d like a cheeseburger and some fries, please.” Omar said, “I’d like a small pizza and a glass of orange juice.” The waiter wrote down our orders and smiled, saying, “Okay, your food will be ready in a few minutes.”

After a short time, the waiter came back with the food. Everything was very delicious. When we finished, he brought the bill, and we paid and left the restaurant happily.

It was a great experience, and I learned how to order food confidently in English.
